KISS Heads to Hell and Back, One Last Time!

KISS has added over 75 new dates to their already massive final jaunt, the End of the Road World Tour. With their reputation forged in face paint and pyrotechnics as one of the most glammed-up, riff-heavy bands in American rock and roll, KISS always puts on an unforgettable live show. Whether new fan or old, here’s your last chance to see these rock gods do what they do best: Rock and Roll All Nite!

Kiss was formed in New York City back in 1973, an American answer to the British glam rockers that were then making waves across the pond. Rather than adopt the same glitter and frills worn by their British contemporaries, KISS opted for armored suits and bold black and white face paint. On this image they rose to prominence, spitting blood across the stages of New York City’s rock clubs. By the late 70’s, their elaborate stage antics, from levitating drums to smoking guitars, had become legendary.

In an attempt to capture the sheer energy of their incendiary live performances, KISS released Alive!, defining them as a tour de force in American rock and roll. After throwing three studio albums at fans and critics alike to lackluster reception, the only thing KISS needed to break into the mainstream was the raw energy they bring to the stage.

Now, nearly 45 years after the release of Alive!, they’re bringing their iconic live show on the road for the last time. The aptly named End of the Road World Tour is a monster of a run. The two-year, eight leg tour hits all five continents over the course of 178 shows, giving fans worldwide the chance to get one last lick.
