Go "Beyond the Fluffy" with Gabriel Iglesias' new 2020 tour! The Long Beach, CA comedian announced a series of dates recently for his "Beyond the Fluffy" tour, stretching coast-to-coast in the United States and even stretching into Europe.
Having sold out the Staples Center, Madison Square Garden, and even Sydney Opera House, Gabriel Iglesias has distinguished himself as one of stand-up comedy's modern legends. His comedy has stood the test of time and found new audiences again and again, from Netflix to YouTube and beyond (garnering over 410,000,000 views on YouTube alone, with nearly 15 million subscribers on social media).
“There is still no greater thrill for me than to perform stand-up live, I’m so excited for this tour and to reconnect with all my fans, it’s going to be Fluffy-licious,” he said about the new line of show dates.
Iglesias' most recent stand-up special, "I'm Sorry For What I Said When I Was Hungry," was released on Netflix in 2016 to voracious fans of his unique brand of humor. His tour promises more "fluffy" goodness — blending storytelling, impersonations, and more, to cover classic subjects like food, family, and his Mexican-American upbringing.
Iglesias was ranked the sixth highest-paid comedian of 2019 by Forbes magazine, behind the likes of Kevin Hart, Jerry Seinfeld, and Jim Gaffigan, but ahead of other household names including Jeff Dunham and Amy Schumer.
Iglesias recently expanded beyond stand-up into his own Netflix sitcom this past year, Mr. Iglesias, which was recently renewed for a second season. Iglesias plays a high school history teacher "balancing his personal life while struggling to keep his gifted students in good standing at his alma mater." The show co-stars The Office alum Oscar Nunez and is dedicated to Iglesias' own high school teacher, June Garner.
