Jennifer Lee, the writer and director of the original film version that earned her an Academy Award for best animated feature, returned to write the book for the musical version, before starting work on the sequel film FROZEN 2.
The tour carries with it a star-studded cast featuring names familiar to Broadway, including Caroline Bowman (Wicked) as Elsa, and Caroline Innerbichler (Little House on the Prairie) as Anna. Austin Colby (Jersey Boys), Bowman's husband, rounds out the cast as Hans.
